hey guys, i've got a '97 Disco I and i've been getting some strange vibes fron the front end. it only happens bteween about 62 and 67 MPH and is worse when going up hill or under load (accelerating). i haven't explored the truck thoroughly enough to know if the front driveshaft is CV or just has U-joints, but the way it feels is that there is a bad u-joint up front. i just don't understand why it happens it such a small area of the speedo. has anyone had this problem or a similar one? any ideas on what it might be? sorry for the ignorance as to what kind of driveline i have, but i've only had the truck for 4 months and have been way to busy to get to know it properly. i know it's not alignment or wheel balance because i just had new tires put on in January and it was aligned then too. |

You may want to search the archives on this one, vibrations have been covered extensively in the past. |
