Ok, so I went to r/r the tcase front output shaft bearing and found water ingress up to the oil seal (from the outside). I had previously unlocked the CDL with the front shaft off and watched the front output spin and make all kinds of terrible noises... Just now with everything disassembled from the outside except the bearing, I did the same. Bearing looks fine and spins silently with absolutely no play. I'm gonna go put it together now with the original bearing, clean out the rusty spots and lube it up really good. Interesting, I'll let you guys know if that fixes the noises. Also, how many run a 3" lift with RTE front arms and stock shaft? With or without vibes? Brian |

I've done 3" lifts on RRover Classic and Disco, Both required CV driveshaft. With or without Off-set arms. New arms make huge difference in handling/driving proformance. |
