thought it was power steering, wasn't. 1996 D1, noise comes on when truck is turned on. very loud noise from central upper engine?? fucker if i know. thoughts |

Possibly tensioner bearing going bad - common problem. You can replace just the bearing for about $10 - p/n is in the cross-ref chart Bill |
