1998 D1 with cracked center switch housing, looking for replacement. Seems the monkeys who replaced the switches some time ago broke the little plastic plate the switches sit in. I'm looking for a replacement piece without having to replace the entire center console!! |

Ron, I just purchased one off ebay from Roversland.inc ([email protected]) and while I am sure I could have shopped around and found a slightly better price I was not dissapointed in their service in the slightest. I got a new plastic plate cover and four used switches for like $60.00 or something. Here's their website: www.roversland.com hope that helps- Ray |

Little dot of superglue and all fixed. If you need to take it off just a little pry and it comes up. No rover is complete without a couple tubes of superglue. Just got done fixing the window regulater. Land Rover wanted 160 bucks. $3.00 in superglue and window is all fixed. |

Hi guys Just checked the prices for the plates that the switches sits in and they cost less than 5. Granted this is a UK price, but 160 bucks, are those guys on something! If you can get the exact part number, I can get the part posted over to you. I have just sent that part over to Toddrover, amongst others, he replaced all his wood trim with the rubber and black plastic.I swapped all that for a pair of 501`s. All this was brand new genuine still in the dealer bags. 160 Bucks!!!!!!! Pete S |
