For some reason this morning I feel exceptionally irritated with LR ownership. My damn rearview mirror fell off again! WTF? Is there any way to positively resecure the thing? Any suggestions? Thanks! |

What have you used to attach the mirror? I know most mirrors use a special rear view mirror glue, kind of like super glue. If that is what you have used and it still will not stay, try getting some marine grade two part epoxy (good for extreme hot and cold applications) Hope this helps. |

heres the trick. 1)pick up the lil kit for mounting the mirror 2)clean the windshield with a razor and windex now heres the trick. 3)remove the metal piece/wedge from the mirror, this is the part that actually glues to the windshield.should have a small set screw. 4)glue this part only to the windshield! 5)leave it alone for 24 hours at least. 6)mount rear view mirror to metal piece that you glued to the windshield the day before. hope this helps. |

7)hold metal piece in place with strip of masking tap while glue sets.
