I just installed a set of them a few weeks ago on my Disco (I'm testing them before Pangaea offers them for sale). To be honest with you, I've been impressed with them. They appear to be very well made, and I've got similar performance from them than with my previous rotors: a set of cross drilled rotors. As I'm sure you know, Brembo has a good reputation in the racing industry.

Oh, and the best part is that they're significantly less expensive than a set of Genuine LR rotors.

Thanks,
Nathan Hindman

Brembos are great. There are many mfgrs of rotors, calipers etc. They are in the top tier, unquestionably. Get them.

Humm,

I actually had a set of these on my desk today. The solid ones looked to be of inferior quality to gennies. It will be interesting to see how they do lonh term. I also highly doubt that the brembo rotors I saw are made directly by brembo.

Now if we are talking 13inchers vented, slotted for 6 pot calipers . . .

The Brembo racing Brakes are no doubt one of the best out there for race purposes, but since i'm thinking of installing the ones for us mere mortals, there is sort of a difference. My dad has a set on his old toyota and they do seem to be holding up, but hearing from discovery owners is better. thanks for the input guys!

Here is my two cents: I have installed many sets of brakes on customer vehicles. My experience with Brembo has been excellent- Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW, and more. I also use them on my race car. I also install a lot of Genuine Land Rover brake parts and feel complete confidence that when I give my customers a choice, either way they will be satisfied, and safe.
