Fellow Discovery Owners,

Just a quick question. I took a look underneath the Disco after I had started the ignition and noticed a small water droplet where coming out from the exhaust gasket/connection that is located roughly in the middle of the vehicle. After driving a while no more drips. Is this normal, or do I need to tighten the connection between the two exhaust joints.

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it isn't coming from a small hole in the muffler, 'cause it's normal to drip while the motor is cold.......it's called condensation :-)

If it's the muffler connection, you can try tightening it.

You might check to see if it's coming from the catalytic converter as well. My Disco drips water from the exhaust pipe from the cat, and from the AC drain somewhere under the passenger footwell. I expect these as normal drips that you would find with any other car/truck.
