Gentlemen, It's been a while. On my '99 D1 I've been having power steering/alingment problems. The vehicle pulls to the right. Got the alignment done at NTB. This corrected the problem for sometime and it's back to where it was. Still pulls to the right. Second problem, power steering fluid leak. Tightened some loose clamps. Doesn't leak so bad now. But since the time I've had the D1, the steering seems not so supple at all. In parking lots I have the most difficult time turning the wheel. Also on twisty mountain roads the steering wheel becomes a little stiff. Is there anyway I could do some kind of fluid flush or add some additional dampening?? Just for kicks, I went to the local Rover Dealer to try out a similar '99 D1 which didn't seem to have any power steering issues. Any ideas/suggestions or similar experiences please do let me know. Thanks. -PGK |
