Any one with any experience with this out there's comments appreciated. Do you think the recore with larger core is best option? Are the aftermarket rads any good or is genuinethe only way to go? By the wayI have a '97D1 w/94k on the clock. |

FWIW, one thing to consider - isn't there a tranmission oil cooler and engine oil cooler built into the LR radiator? W2 99D1 |

I just had a recore done for my '95 D1. I removed it myself and took it to a local radiator shop. A recore ran just over $230 and it works great. Even in the South Texas heat. I also added a bottle of Water-wetter and used distilled water mixed with anti-freeze/coolant in the system (50%). Since then I've put my Disco through several miles of deep sand on the Padre Island National Seashore in very warm weather with no problems. Good luck! Brett San Antonio, Texas
