is the cruise control switch supposed to be illuminated when lights are on if so is there a bulb in there and what size is it? (I am talking about the symbol on the switch not orange light when cruise is activated)....thanks(96DI)

yep i just replaced mine on the dash (the volume button and all) there is a amber bulb. its about the size of you pinky finger nail. they are 2.95 at Atlantic British.. if there are two colors there will be a green and a amber bulb!! hope this helped

do i have to take the switch apart to replace this bulb,and if so how?

uumm it should slide out. and you should be able to see the colored bulb in there.. with a credit card or a small flat tip it sould come right out!!!
