'unadulterated' observations

Awww…touch a nerve? This should be a place for information and speculation, since any hard specifications do not exist yet. The vehicle is not finialized, not even approved.

Vote with your dollars.

Disco II main drawback is its excessive size and weight, kind of like a clumsy elephant tripping and crushing over some rough terrain. Probably why the nimbler Jeep is more popular for serious off-roaders. Once again, I am excited about the IDEA OF THE NEW DISCO, and THE APPEARENCE OF IT'S OFF-ROAD CAPABILITIES, but am realistic about the possibility of being disappointed. I'm not defending it, because I don't know any more than what I see, and what I know of Land Rover products. I'm countering your bold statements made about a vehicle's design and mechanics, while it's still basically under wraps. getting you all juicy in the shorts over the DISCO. I'm pointing out flaws in your logic, is all. I'm also perfectly calm in this discussion, so there's no need for me to "chill." I really don't care what you think, because you are of a different mind-set. I don't really care how tall it is, as long as it has great ground clearance, which it appears to have, If it looks cool, plenty of head room, tough looks, excellent off-road ability, room for at least 5, utility, and better gas mileage than it's bigger heavy brothers.

Why is the question I ask
as I see familiar tears of pain
run down faces that have grown
weary within days and not years

Children to small to reach the
cookie jars are beng dressed for war!
Why has this disgusting word become so
familiar and at ease in your langage of
today?

Why must our lives be spilled on cemented
roads that has become off-rode with blood.
Why must we do this to each other with no
pain?

Off-rode for Blood now hangs in place of a
welcome sign. Stop is the word that we need to
express to stop this Green Scare that has enter
our world before the next time I see you is in a
body bag on its lonely way!

In summary if you have the money and have been thinking about buying a new Freed Independent Traction SUV. the Jeep Grand Red Indian or the General 2 eat gas , for the sake of its version of traction control and fanciness but haven't cost you like Landys then buy the Disco III. what's not but there is a generation of guys who have secretaries who answer the phone, Soccer moms that play referee, garden boys who mow the lawn and in the same vein just wants to put foot to get through the mud without bothering too much about the mechanics and will call in a chopper to airlift it out if it dies - then enjoy it.

copyrighted, don`t attempt to steal, you will be vaporized.

being such a wordly guy, one would think he'd know the difference between "its" and "it's" and the spell of the word "appearance"...

If you ask me, this is a perfect example of Chris Brownes' "Are posters getting dumber (again)?" Maybe he's a Jeep owner thats smoked to much in his day, and he's just here to piss us off. I'm terribly sorry if I hurt you feelings Yrwins, please don't "vaporize" me.

I needed a good laugh today, thanks Yrwins.

Kind of reminds me of the insults the French hurled at King Arthur in Monty Python's "The Holy Grail":

"Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries"!
and
"I fart in your general direction"!

Did I miss something while I haven't been on Discoweb in a while? Did someone get J**p grease in their corn flakes again? I told you about that- too high in lithium. Use Dot4 instead- nice zinc taste. It'll put hair on your chest.

I am just still trying to figure out what is going on. Maybe I'll read it again tonight while I am intoxicated and the computer monitor is upside down. It's all about perspective.

Obviously a warm-up of some kind for the next Burning Man gathering.
Lithium?? I'd recommend a night-night dose of a highly sedating antipsychotic now that inapsine has that fetid and in my opinion ill deserved black box warning. Failing that a ketamine dart might do.
At least he seems "mostly harmless" to quote the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Luke, it doesn't seem to make any more sense now that I'm actually intoxicated. But I have an IBM X41 with the monitor built-in, so I can't try that monitor-inversion thing.

It is a poetic way of saying we are trading oil for our own blood and we will be killed before we can do any more harm. Probably some enviro-moron.

Without oil our economy would collapse. Not enough competetive alternatives as yet. So until that day we really need oil to keep the wheels rolling.
