Just replaced my spark-plugs (old: Bosch Platinums; new: Bosch +four's) and spark-plug wires (Magnecor) and noticed my vacuum tube leading to the dizzy was disconnected. Reconnected it but the fittings were too loose for my preference so I replaced it with a new vacuum hose.
The disco (a '95) accelerates much smoother...since the old wires and plugs weren't in that bad of condition, I'd probably attribute the seat-of-the-pants change in performance to be due to replacing the dizzy vacuum tube.
Anyway, not the most significant contribution to the tech-discussion, but check out the condition of your vacuum tube; it's a quick and easy inspection and fix!

I this vaccum hose on a 1996 as well or 95 and below only? Is there certain vaccum hoses I should check on my 1996?

Thanks

Sorry, 'dizzy' is slang for distributor. It's easier on the mouth and fingers if you have to say/type it often.

Garrett,
if you have the 4.0L engine with the GEMS ignition system (spark plug leads originate from a bank of coils at the rear of the engine), this wouldn't apply. If you have the 3.9L engine, the distributor is located near the front of the engine, the vacuum tube will connect to a round, semi-conical device on the side of the distributor, and it will extend to the top of the intake manifold after the throttle body.
