I went with a buddy to have his oil changed, as well as his Diff. oil. He has a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It states in his owner's manual that he needed to add a friction reduction additive in each of his Diffs. Would anybody know if this would be beneficial or harmful for the Discovery? |

Most gear oils these days come with the additive in the oil already mixed in. It does nothing for gears but it's needed for the clutch LSDs. |
