My used CD changer showed up today, but didn't come with the screws. I hooked it up to make sure it works (perfectly!), but none of my spare screws worked. Does anyone happen to know the size/kind I need to buy and is there a trick to getting the darned screwdriver lined up AND seeing what you're doing?! |

I am not sure of the screw size, but it was kind of a pain in the ass to get in. |

Hit and miss at Sears Hardware. I think I bought machining screws that were 10-32 1/2". At least it's in (figured out that I needed to take the plastic panel off) and I hope the screws last! |

They're metric sized - I had to goto a specialty metric fastener house to get some quickrelease thumbscrews. Unfortunately, I can't remeber the size off-hand, but if you still haven't found them - I have a few extra of the thumb screws that I could send you. Just let me know. Bill |

Thanks for the offer, Bill! It seems that the screws I used have secured the changer and no skipping while traveling over the Houston potholes! |
