I am a skeptic by nature, and especially so when dealing with companies that I am not familiar with. After being promised delivery of my adventure rack in about a weeks time, getting pushed back to 1 1/2 weeks, then 2 weeks, then 3 weeks, and repeatedly not being called back, I am beginning to wonder if the place is legitamate or not. Has anybody out there delat with them? Can anybody tell me if they can be trusted? Thanks in advance! |

Strange you should ask. I talked to one of the owners of this place about 3 weeks ago. Seemed to be a decent enough guy. I believe they have changed the name to rovercity now. In any event, I have seen some people get stellar service from them, and I have seen others struggle to get correct parts on time, including a close friend who had his truck on the lift at a shop who asked for over night and got 1.5 weeks. I've never ordered from them because I'd rather pay a little more and get more consistent service. But when you look to pay bottom dollar, sometimes service won't be on par with the big boys. -P |

Thanks for the feedback Perrone. So with what you say, they are most likely not trying to steal my money or anything - just not the most organized outifit in the world. That rack I ordered had a price tag of under $850 (including delivery charges to Denver) so I decided to try it and hope that everything worked out. I hope that I did not just get a first hand lesson about paying more for good service and a good rep! |

Jarrod, in my experience they get everything to you. I have had to wait for some of the less common items, but they have always delivered everything I have ordered. |

Thank Marc - still very impatient, but at least I feel a little better about the deal. |

FWIW, i have never ordered anyhting form them (yet) but if they are putting you off it is good service to give you a really good reason and if they failed to give you the part by the time they promised they SHOULD do something to make it right (ie. a free shirt or something). it may be againest the popular vote, but i would stay after them. its plain rude to ignore you if you have been trying to contact tehm and they arent replying. as i said FWIW! mike w |

I've bought lots of stuff from them. They screwed up one of my orders, but it wasn't their fault. Mohamed said he'd send me an oil filter for my troubles, but never got one....just un-organized The price is right because they drop ship everything, just like Dee and Nathan. |

Thanks for the feedback guys! Now if I could find a good therapist to help me learn patience in waiting for new toys for my truck! |

What, you mean your truck isn't forcing you to be patient? My purchases from Discount Rovers have been shipped from Nathan's office/warehouse. Shipping from Louisville is usually a whole lot better than shipping from Mansfield motors. Also, I don't have to calculate the real cost. Paul |

I reached thru the phone line and strangled him long ago. May still be recovering. Search 'europarts' on this board for more... |

I bought a Disco II roof rack off of Ebay from them & talked to Mohamed on the phone. They get the itmes there eventually, just not when they promise. Brian |
