Hey -

My Disco's front driver seat is looking a bit rough. I have one split and some deep creases. Wondering if anyone one has dealt with this yet?

I've been keeping my eye out for a wreck with some good leather - no luck. I'm sure I could order the seat cover from the dealer, but I'm not sure I want to give up my first born to do that.... I'm sceptical that a uhpolstery shop could do a good job matching the bad panel.

People seem to rave about leatherique and their repair products, does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Scott

Hi Scott,

I personally don't have experience, but the link is a thread from a BMW message board that I frequent. On that board, Leatherique is the way to go. I think you will find the write up at the link very enlightening about what is required to do a good job with their product. My other car is an 83 533i and I've been needing to do the Leatherique thing for a long time, and they're the company I'm going to go with. Anyway, read the write-up on this link, including all the follow-ups to help answer your questions.
