i wanted to ask about this...about what you used to cut them...i am also curious about a winch...i know where to buy a good one...but how do i mount it to the stock bumper...or is that a "no no"???thanks, ,jess also how does the dealership mount winches...do they use the stock bumper..?? |

End caps are soft plastic and cut well with coping saw or dremil tool. My winch is a Ramsey 12K with a home made 3/8" plate steel box that bolts to the frame and the bumper and factory brush bar is cut out in the middle and bolted to the winch mount. I personaly like this look better than ARB and was way cheaper for me to fab in my garrage but, this is not air bag compliant. the winch box is solid to the frame and becomes a bumper that sits low enough to line up with a car bumper.
