OK fellas:
SWMBO went for the new shocks. I'm torn between the OME and Bilstein, but, I need to get them NOW-have to install them this weekend! Who has the best prices that can overnight them to me in Indiana without charging me an arm and leg? I'd get the OMEs from John and Ho, but I'm afraid that cross-country overnight rates might be prohibitive, but, I don't just want to roll over and pay Rovers North prices just for the convenience.

John, Ho, your thoughts on selection and shipping costs to 46825?

Any suggestions as to which shocks, and where? I have the Rover Tym 2" lift (for now). I guess that if I were to wish to lift further in the future, I could always sell the shocks off and buy longer travel shocks.

Testimonials always appreciated!

Peace,
Paul

IMHO, tow w/ the current shocks, and tell her that they'll do okay, but will need replacing right afterwards... so you can get some from Ho, have them on the way, and then install them after you're done towing....

Leslie:
I don't think she'll go for that. She'd say if they were good enough now, they'll be good enough for awhile longer:-).

Also, we intend to do a whole lot of wheeling before we have to head home and I was hoping to be able to pull the sway bars off to take advantage of the lift and tall tires.

Also, I'm holding onto a few checks right now that will cover the purchase cost. If I wait, she will find something else (likely not Rover related to spend it on-like carpet).
