I was thinking of buying a Bearmach brushguard. Are they that much lower in quality than a factory one?

Most of the "Bearmach" products are made from the same sources as LR contracts to for there stock. There speciality products are mid range in quality and price. Watch out for the powder coated finishes applied in the UK most I have seen will peal in less than a year. I have had some parts right out of the box peal on me..

Bearmach is hit and miss.

Some stuff like dee says is OEM other stuff is complete crap. At least this has been my experience with it.

I look at it as buying store brand food. Sometimes its the same, only cheaper, other times it sucks.
