hello, i'm new to the CT area and have a 1995 discovery that needs some work. i don't really want to bring my truck to a land rover dealership for fear of the rediculous costs they will charge me. i've passed by classic 4x4's on black rock turnpike a few times and have seen all the rovers they have in the parking lot. has anyone used them before? are they good? any information would be of great interest. thank you. steven

I have done some work with them on my Range Rover. They are great guys and they do excellent work. I would recommend them to any one. Some of the Rovers that are parked there are theirs.. i believe they are trying to start an offroad school. some rovers like mine are b/c some colleges frown upon freshmen having cars on campus. any way they are great guys. if you call ask for Dawson Sanner( he owns it) or Greg.

Yup,

They're great. Used to hang out there all the time.
Far superior in customer service and prices to LR Darien. As far as dealers, LR Guilford is the best in CT, followed by LR Milford.

I'll add a second vote to Brian Jackson's comment. Land Rover Guilford is a dealership but you will get excellant service at a fair price. Nothing but glowing things to say about them.

Steven, drop me an email and I'll tell you of a friend that specializes in repair/restoration of LR's, in CT, and could probably save you a bundle...
