Wich heavy duty bumper should I get for my 95 Disco? I'm sorry for asking a question that has been asked b4, but I never payed attention to them until I wrecked my truck and now need to replace the bumper.

I'm looking for something with good looks, winch, a decent price.

Can you please point me to threads on this topic, or point me to pics? I need to order something on Monday.

Thanks in advance!
Neal

I almost forgot, I would like something that can incorporate a front skid plate

The amount of front bumpers to choose from seems to grow every month. I personally use the Rovertym bumper (rovertym.com) and am very happy with it. Heavy-duty design, quality construction, excellent service, engineered with bars, skid plates, winch mounts and probably anything else that you fancy.

And for under $750 it's arguably the best deal out there.

Oops, I made a mistake, I originally wrote "for under $800" then I took a peek at the Rovertym site and changed it to $750 and forgot to delete the "under".

The Standard Bumper with skid plate is listed for $750.

Are Rovertym and Safari Guard the only bumpers with skid plates?

You can add on other skid plates to other bumpers, but I think those are the only ones out with them integrated.

Personally, I don't dig on the front skid plates. I am going with HD rods instead...

You can see mine from Rockware in the gallery section. Winch tray, shackle mounts, integrated skid... It's a custom job, but I'm sure they'd be more than happy to take another $1200 from someone else.
