I don't window shop and don't pay much attention to accessories I'm not actively in the market for, but I saw this on eBay and wondered if it was real. It looks familar, but not LR genuine.

Anyone recognize it as a legitimate winch bumper? If so, anyone know what winches it will take?

It's local to me (within a 50 or so miles).

Jeff

yup at first glance it appears very similar to a Series or D90 front bumper. Never seen one like that in the magazines.

That's kinda what I thought. Looks like it belongs more on IIA/D90/110 then a Disco. Don't know enough about LR genuine parts to say though...

You might want to contact the seller and try to get a better idea if he knows anything or not because that really doesnt look like it would fit on a disco, it doesn't wrap around to go under the front fenders.

Here's the reply I got from the seller:

"This bumper can be seen in any of the early brochures and advertisement for Land Rover Discovery. The upper bar is held in place by two bolts. The bumper replaces the factory bumper and uses the factory hardware. The end caps have to he inmursed in hot water to go over the bumper ends. The headlight washers will need to be relocated , requiring you to drill two holes. If you choose to install off road lights that will require drilling and wiring also."
