I just disassembled the front hub intending to grease the bearings and replace the brake rotor.

I can't separate that rotor from the hub! I tried WD-40, tried resting it on a curb againts the rotor and just hammering on a hub. It doesn't give at all so I can't pry it.

I will appreciate any hints. Please, help!

On my DII, my friend and I used a 12lb lead diving weight to break it loose. A PIA for sure! I'd recommend finding something very heavy, but not too hard. Maybe a big rock wrapped in cloth, (or a plastic sheathed diving weight...)

Took mine to a local mechanic and had him disassemble the front end on both sides all the way to the axel stubs in order to find a squeaky grinding noise and lube (re-pack )the bearings. The whole job cost me $95 CAN dollars(thats like $1.50 USD right?)and the problem was solved. sometimes you would be better off making money while the pro's do their thing to your truck.

I was eventually able to pry them apart by putting a metal 'thing' in between the hub and the rotor. That 'thing' was the handle of the stock lug nut wrench stacked with a medium-size cold chisel. The combined thickness was just right to fit in between and pry them as I was hammering on the chisel.

Only one out of four brake rotors was that bad.
