Been feeling a vibration building recently and this weekend, it has gone over the top.
Symptoms
1: Appears while accelerating only
2: but all seems ok to about 25 mph
3: Then all hell seems to break loose causing vibrations throughout the body

Ideas? Questions?

Universal joint. Check them before driving it anymore. When they go south bad things happen.

Something as simple as mud on the insides of the wheels could be the problem.
CV's will be most noticable while turning. Just accelerate through a turn and it will vibrate (if they are bad). Chances are that it will be accompanied with noise.

Sadly Emilio, truck hasn't seen mud in months.... I think Kyle has the right answer...it was my mechanic's gut reaction too..
I think I replaced the front with a GBR shaft about 35k ago and the rear with an ABP almost 45 k ago.
My bet is on the front to have a bad uj or two or three.
I'll see tomorrow when I go to see Alan Elliot. Cross fingers for luck its done about 70 miles and will hold enough to coast downhill to Alan's shop about 10 miles away. Plan on removing the offending item locking the diff and going 4x2 for a couple of days
Wife is getting a tad annoyed at my truck going to the shop...to have this or that replaced but wear and tear is bound to happen and she wondering about a new vehicle for me....well Baron isn't going anywhere he's mine for life or till rust does us part......

And the answer is we were all wrong...
two loose bolts on the front propshaft....installed longer bolts that catch more thread, touch of locktite and Bingo
Nice running truck again.....

:)I think you might have a loose driveshaft. Could be the front. Check the bolts.:)
Couldn't Resist,

What I find is that the bolts loosen because they're a bit short. See if you can find some longer ones and I'd also suggest using locktite. I'm pretty sure this will work. :)

I hear this from many folks, yet mine seem to remain tight every time I inspect them during oil changes.

I do however, torque them well with wrenches that have been relieved to allow for better engagement.

Peace,
Paul
