I posted this on the Range Rover Section but apparently nobody reads those anymore. I will buy a manual soon, but do not have one yet. What is the spark plug gap for the 4.2L on a '95 LWB? Larry |

Yeah it is read, but not like the DI/DII side. As I recall, .033-.038. There are more important specs on your tune-up. Like wiring routing, air gap setting, ignition advance. Clean stepper motor and orifice. Fuel filter. Air filter. Thermostat. Idler pulley bearing. Trans AND transfer case fluid change/flush. Power steering flush. Diff(s) flush, and swivel housings refill/drain. Do all that. Then think about spark plug gap, IMHO. Happy Rovering- doug james, 95 @ 101k mi. |
