has anyone had a sunroof shade that does not roll back once is released? apperently the roller is not functioning and because it is hard to access it I am looking for any suggestions! |

Mine tend to be hard to get them to go all the way in, but usually I can release them from almost fully extended and they retract. Not sure of a trick to get one to work when there is no recoil. Probably spring driven and the spring has come loose. You probably have to pull the headliner to get to it, but I'm not sure. |

Greg, Thank you for your help! it was the spring indeed..it broke on one side and it was not retracting the shade!! Jorge |
