Hi Anybody have experience with Pirelli Scorpion S/T 235/70R16 - 105H on their Disco? Can get these at Sears for $80 each, very different then Michelin XPC 235/70R16 105H currently on truck. A new set quoted approx $210 each at NTW. I'd be interested in hearing anybody elses experience with this or other tires. I have a 96 Disco SD 5 speed with 125K miles. thanks |

Arthur, I'm running the Pirelli Scorpion S/T 235/70 on my '97. I have no complaints and I'm satisfied with them as an on-road tire. As for off-road... just not aggressive enough once it gets wet and muddy. Cheers, Brian |

Thanks Brian and Neal Have either of you run them in snow? I'm in the NE and travel to Maine in the winter. Arthur |

they are pretty good in the snow. I've never been stuck using them. Slightly worse than the stock Michellins in the mud. |

I would second Neal on that. They ride great on road. Quite quiet. JK |

They are the only option from the stok tires if you want h rated. When I purchased mine, highway travel was very important to. Now I only use my truck for wheeling so I'm swithing to something more progressive. |

I had them, I enjoyed lots, good life. In fact, I have my alloy with one of them with probably 70 life left for sale, if you are interested for spare.- |
