Does the Adventure rack come in two different sizes to fit on the DI and the DII? I was told by my LR Center that the DII Adventur rack is wider to accomodate the newer width of the vehicle...Can anyone shed some light on this so I dont' buy a rack that was used on an older DI...?? Also, I see that the Hannibal rack seems to be more user friendly with regards to the floorng and the fact that it is flat. I know that if I purchase the Hannibal rack, the back sunroof on my DII will not operate. Thanks, Christian |

Great pics Ho! LNDRVR99- as the pics show, there is no width variance between the two models. What is different is the length of the vehicles, hence the D2 Adventure Rack is longer. You can mount the D2 Adventure Rack on the D1, the mounting brackets fit the D1 gutters perfectly. Although because of the extended length, the D2 Rack hangs out a couple of inches on the front and back. That's my Coniston Green D1 that Trevor G. is hanging off of in the pic, btw! |
