I am trying to level out my disco. I have measured the height of all 4 fenders (from center of wheel hub) and come up with almost a 2 inch difference from the left rear to the right front. I have OME HD all around, and an ARB bumper. Also, I am looking at getting some RTE sliders to add to the mix, so that would add a little more weight.

My question is this; I would like it to be as level as possible, and I know that spacers are certainly the quickest remedy. But does that take away from either up or down travel enough to make a difference? And, is the poly-bushing type a good way to go?

Thanks in advance!

i was reading about this on i beleve discount rover .com that the ome springs are built for foregn discoveries where the weight is differnt and the american discovery are more ballanced. they said that they come with left and right springs. discount rovers changes the hard and soft so that you gat a ballanced rover. most companies dont do this they said.

EE sells 'matched' sets too. instead of DS (driver side) and PS (passenger side) they sell both rears as DS.

Yeah, you probably need to swap the left and right side of either your front or rear to get the sides matched, although it may still lean. Another thing to check, and this sounds silly, but are you measuring on level ground? I was measuring my DII with RTE 2" HD springs on unlevel ground and found the measurements to differ based on where I was parked. On level ground, mine measures 21" all around now.

I was measuring on level ground, or else that could have really screwed me up.

And just a note: when installing I did make sure that all springs were placed in the correct position.
