So my wife goes to start the truck and nothing happen's. I run down to where shes stuck thinking she has left the light's on and drained the battery but thats not it. here is the problem's so far. key fob's will not either lock or unlock doors. Key will not activate center locing mech.. There is a strange clicking sound coming from the area around the air intake just beside the radiator. The red light on the dash flashes when you here the clicking sound. So she finaly gets it started by putting the key in the drivers door and turning it to the left for a few seconds then the truck will start no probs. Without doing this the alarm will go off when you try and start, or the engine will turn over but not start.Did any of that make sense ?????? I hope so. Im all confused at this moment so any help would be aprieciated. Oh by the way its a 1996 Disco. |

That funny ticking sound is the alarm horn. I also noticed the fuse was blown so I replaced the fuse and it blew as soon as I tried to arm the alarm.AAAAARRRRGGHHHH!!!!!!! |
