I recently bought a 97 Disco, so far I have no complaints, in fact just the opposite. Aesthetically though my disco came with a textured rubber mat on the center console, it's hard to clean and maintain, anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a good factory matched walnut trim kit. I have done some research and everything I've seen requires me to buy a whole 18 piece kit, I'd rather just get that one piece, if you have any thoughts let me know |

Has anyone made up a metal (e.g. brushed aluminium or diamond) plate around the shifter? I've thought about it myself - there's always gack and dog hair and whatnot stuck between those little nubby things. E |

that nubby rubber mat on the center console is great. Stuff doesn't slide around on there with that. To clean it, just pop the rectangular finish piece off from around the shifter (mess with it and you'll see what I mean - there are two tabs fore and aft that hold it on - it just pops off). Then just pull up the rubber mat (it stretches around the tcase shifter) and rinse it off in the sink. |

.....what he said and it also holds in roadie spills quite good as well. then just use a towel to sop it up. won't all spill off and down into the carpet. well unless you are riding shotgun with a few 40's!! |
