Does anyone have a recommendation for the round 7 pronged wire harness on a '97 Disco, vs. spending $80 on a converter to the standard, flat, 4 prong American harness from the dealer? There has to be a better/cheaper alternative.

Has anyone found a non-dealer source for the Rusts plug used for the trailer wiring? I have been trying to locate that for a while now and cannot find another source. If I could source the plug and solder/heat-shrink the joints to the UHaul converter, I would be set.

Sorry, I am allergic to scotchlocks. :)

I'm having a weird problem.... I have the factory wiring adaptor. It used to work fine. With the trailer hooked up, the dash light for the trailer lights would flash appropriately, now, the left side turn signal doesn't work. If I check the voltage at the plug, (unfortuneately I don't have an analog voltmeter, so I get kind of wierd readings), I get 12 volts for the turn signal wire (or even at the back of the trailer with the light disconnected). As soon as I put a load on
