I have a 95 d1 and I just pulled all of the abs sensors and reseated them. I did this because my antilock light would come on while driving right after I would hit a bump. I did the pull and reseat of the sensors and it still does the exact same thing. Is one of my sensors bad? Is the more than one connector leading to the abs controler? A short in one of the wires? This last one is a guess as I inspected the wires and all looked free of damage, but maybe I missed something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Andy |

Andy: On a 95 disco, you can read the blink codes and diagnose what the problem is. Do a keyword search for "blink code" and you will find a thread that explains how to do it. John |

Thanks for the info, I got the blink code diagnosious from that spanish trail rovers site, but it is for a RRC. Now I don't have the service manual with me right now, but is there any major differences between the RRC diagnoses and a disco? Thanks Andy |

Andy: As noted in the archived post, you don't need to pull the relay for a disco, and the plug is under the black cover beneath the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Other than that, the procedure is the same, and the codes are the same, from a disco to a RRC. There are one or two additional codes; if you get one that is not listed, post it here. John |
