Just saw a new RF subwoofer mentioned in Four Wheeler mag. (((6 1/2 inch Punch HE subwoofer w/1.75in voice coil 8 ohm / 150/300 watt))) I wonder if this will work in the stock sub location on the rear door? I would be nice. Jay |

I tried that with my 98. The rear door has 2- 6 1/2 "sub woofers" I changed them to 2 6 1/2 JL subs. Then had to air saw around the door so it would fit! Dont bother! They sound good if the truck is not turned on or moving. As soon as you add volume, forget it. Get a sub box custom made for your cubby in the back. My alpine amp fits under the rear seat"after removing the hard board" and use the stock size for the rest. |
