Disco2 with ACE Warm-ups

Everytime I startup the engine in the morning, I wait for the ACE component to stop making the noise then drive. Is that enough time for warm-ups? How about for other time, like in the afternoon and thereafter? Do you have to wait for the ACE noise to stop again?
