I'll be having the rotors on my pig replaced soon and was wondering if the slotted or vented/slotted rotors offer any advantage in longevity? Going to kevlar pads is the 2nd part of the question. Good/Bad? Also, if there are any suggestions on the lowest cost good quality rotor available or the most heavy duty w/o major upgrades I'd appreciate what the experts have found through their experience. Thanks and look fwd to your insight.

When I got my truck the rotors were destroyed so I picked up https://www.expeditionexchange.com/dba/ and put them all the way around with DBA pads.

I picked up my cd/s rotors from atlanticbritish. 100 bucks apiece.

They do seem to provide a bit more stopping power in this sucky atlanta traffic.

GBR has a brake caliper spacing kit for the D1. It spaces out the caliper enough to fit RRC rotors. With the bigger rotors my stopping power increased much more than the D1 rotors ever could.

I just ordered that kit- I'll post a review as soon as it's done.
