I was out wheeling earlier today and hit a hole pretty hard by acident, for some reason my emergency flasher turned on and wouldn't go off untill I turned the truck of and started it again. Has anyone else had this happen? Does anyone know why this happened? The Disco is a 98 if that matters. |

Emergency feature automatically turns on hazards in an accident. You hit hard enough to trick it into thinking you'd been in an accident. Happens to the best of us... Ron Ward |

Not only does it turn on the hazards, it also unlocks the doors and turns off the fuel pump. |

The inertia switch, located on the firewall close to the washer fluid tank. Next time you hit hard, pop the hood and depress the switch, should be good to go. Nothing worse than sitting around while your rig is flashing it's lights disturbing your focus on enjoying that cold beer. |

"My neighbors ford truck goes off..." And the bad thing about that is what? Sounds like a load of laughs when he comes home from a bad day!!! Just not on your LR! |
