Crawl under the Disco and look for the E Brake drum at the end of the transmission. On the backing plate to the drum there will be a 14MM nut located on the bottom side. This is the adjustment for the E brake. 5 minute job but might be quicker if you have someone inside the car helping.

Also, you will have to remove the panel to access the screw from inside of you car to adjust the tention of the parking brake lever.

Depends on the year. In a 96 just do the bolt on the drum. There is no adjustment screw for the lever in mine. The cable just passed right through to the tranny. I don't know what year this was in but I wish mine had one but it is still pretty easy going under to do this.

Don - remember how much you had to turn the adjuster bolt (approx)?

Dean less then a fill turn on mine. This is where a second person comes in handy. They pull the brake until you get the right amount of travel you are looking for. I did mine to about 2 inches of travel. If you are doing this alone get ready to jump under the car and back inside a few times.
