Anyone know where to get seat bottom covers for D1 manual front seats? I've tried Nathan but last I heard he doesn't seem to be able to track them down.
Anyhelp would be much appreciated.

Mark

Cabela's sells some universal covers for cheap, like $60 a full set including rear bench.

Just as a suggestion, try looking at some of the outfits in the UK (look in the back of the LRO or similiar LR mags). They have sets of seat covers that look similar to the Genuine ones for less than $100 USD. I've been thinking about going this route myself, but just haven't got motivated yet.

Thanks guys, I'll look into the UK ones. My drivers side seat is really starting to fall aprt and I'd like it to at least match the passenger side which is in pretty good condition considering the crappy condition of the driver's side.

Heck, if you're going to go to the trouble of buying internationally, why not go with the these seat covers:

Just did the currency conversion... That's almost 600 big ones! Maybe if we did a group purchase.... (wishful thinking!).

Mark: FWIW...

I ordered some of those seat covers from Cabela's Joseph mentioned. They are $20 a piece for the fronts. They fit really well. The covers also have a pocket built in, so when you are not using them, they fold up into the pocket into a cube about 8"X8"X3" for extremely easy storage.

Anyway... here's the important info:

Cabela's Universal Fit Seat Covers
Item: UD-521395
Price: $19.99

Mark,
I got the LR genuine seat covers from a UK guy on Ebay. Keep checking back and you can get them really cheap.

They are tan and look nice. I just happened to have the camera out because I posted a question in the general section about a piece of reflective tape: ../27/44410.html"../../clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0>

Anyway, I drug myself off the couch and walked downstairs and took a couple of pictures for you:

The shine is from the reflection from the flash.

Did I mention they were $20 :-)

Also...I got the covers for all 7 seats for $150 from that guy on Ebay. They are over $1000 from the dealer.

Jack, it's a LED flashing light. My COP buddy didn't need it so installed it on my Disco. Works handy for merging, and getting tailgaters off my back who I usually can't see from any of my mirrors.

Thats by far the coolest thing i have seen installed on a disco. Great idea. I get tailgaters in Beefed up Nissan/Ford trucks all the time. I think i'm deffinatly going to have to install one of those. Do you have any idea where i can get hold of one?

Cheers

You can get one from www.awdirect.com , not the same model, but lots to choose from. Search around and you can find them cheaper on the web.

I had it wired to this red button:
http://www.pbase.com/image/20254341

I just ripped out all the sloppy wiring and am awaiting a hella relay with built-in fuse to properly wire it. May eventually get some stroves to match in the turn signal lights...

I bought some seat covers from Wal-Mart for $14.00 for the front, I think they look really good and fit nice and tight (Tan with a little darker baige on the seats)!!! I like the fact that they also shed off water, it just beads off the surface!! Can't beat the price and if I rip them or damage them I can go and buy another set.
