I changed my rotors and pads but when I took the calipers apart all of the fluid drained out and now the brakes don't work. How do I bleed the brakes? There is fluid in the reservoir but none in the lines. I have no resistance in the pedal. Any suggestions. Chad |

well, there's a little nipple on the top of each brake near where the brakelines connect. Pull the little rubber cover off, have someone pump the brakes about 5 times and hold the petal to the floor.. Turn the nipple with a wrench, this will cause air/ fluid to come out continue this process on EACH BRAKE until ONLY FLUID and NO AIR come out.. When you are done if the breaks are still sluggish, repeat. Adam |

Is there a nipple on each side of the caliper (2 per brake)? Do I have to do the rear brakes as well since fluid ran out (I did not do any work on them)? Do I need to do anything to the master cylinder? Thanks Chad |

Nothing to the master cylinder.. there's 1 nipple on the outside of each brake, facing in toward the middle of the vehicle. You must do it on EVERY BRAKE. once air comes into one brake, it makes it into the whole system.. Adam |
