i replaced my stepper last week (old one did not work!) reset the check engine light and went on an extended trip to the southern sierras. mostly all off road..anyway while on the way home the ol code 48 was showing with the check engine light going on as well..pulled over to check to see if ahose came undown and it turned out the fire trap (crankcase breather filter) was lose..so i tightened it and off we went...i reset the light today by disconnecting the negative lead on the battery and while doing a test drive it came back on? whats up? anyone have any ideas? all hoses have been checked for leaks, t piece is clear..any ideas? the tuck is running great besides that light..the rough idle i had is now gone with the new stepper motor but why would it go back on after the tightning? thanks |
