I replaced my non-foglight air dam with a foglight airdam this weekend. I have everything in place but I cannot find the harness to plug into the switch. I've read that the harness is in the dash and behind the styrofoam block under the steering wheel. The directions stated that the styrofoam would need to be removed but does it unbolt (I've noticed some bolts) or do I need to removed it through friendly persuasion? Can anyone give any insight? Does anyone one know exactly what the harness looks like? color, size, etc.
Thanks as always.

I found my harness w/o removing the foam. Just reached up around the right side of the foam and gently pulled on a couple of wire bundles and the right one dropped down, probably from somewhere between the vent and dash. Connector is green. Have to admit there was some faith involved in that I didn't just unplug something from the dash though. Hope this helps.

The foam can be removed by carefully moving it around under there. It's not that hard and it can be removed intact and easily replaced. It just doesn't look like it can come out.

Peace,
Paul

Just remove the bottom black panel and get your fat ass up there and take a look. Hell, I did it with my 36 inch waist and 6 foot frame, however, I have now lost the use of my right arm, but who cares, all in the name of fixing our rovers, right?
Seriously, I hate to dismantle anything if I can find a way squeeze and contort but to get a look, the bottom black panel has 3 lttle plastic trim pins to remove and its out, providing easy access without the hassle of that foam block removal.

Task Complete. I "got my Fat Ass down there" and was able to figure it out.
