Is it possible to wire another cig lighter into the cargo area? I do a lot of tailgating and it would be handy to be able to put a TV back there. Has anyone tried this? |

Mike, I just asked this the other day actually. Not only is it possible but it is really easy, there is actually a wire back there allready for you to use. Check out this tread but respond if you have any questions. ../2/4350.html"#333333"> |

Does anyone know if the wiring is in the back on an SD D2? Is this sort of like heated seats, just buy the plug from LR and "plug" it in? |

Mike, no problem I hope it works out for you. Plug me: I Don't know if it is in the D2, check your owners manual where it talks about the trailer wiring harness, on the D1 the extra wire is attached to the plug for the wiring harness (there is also another wire that just gets power when you are in reverse. It isn't like the heated seat thing in that you have to drill a hole for the plug and then run the ground wire to the frame somewhere, it's not a "plug in" procedure but it isn't hard to do at all. |
