I just bought a new 2000 Disco and had a couple questions about how the power locks are supposed to act - and another about how the key remote is supposed to act... In the manual, it sorta implies that the power locks automatically lock when you get going over a certain speed...is this correct? Mine doesn't lock by itself, at any speed, so I was wondering if this is something that is set/programmed in case the previous owner didn't like that feature. The second question I had has to do with hitting the unlock button the remote. The manaul says that you hit the button once, and the drivers side door opens - you hit it again and all the door open. When I try it, you hit the button once and ALL the doors open. Is this also the same case where you can set/configure the remote to do different things? I know these are two minor issues, but if there is something wrong, I'd like to take it back to the dealer seeing that I just bought the car and its supposed to be "certified"! Thanks in advance, Will |

Will- Those are options that you can have programmed by your LR dealer... Stock Disco2s do not automatically lock when you drive over 4mph (?), and the unlock button on the remote unlocks all the doors. HTH |
