I am interested in installing a set of RS9000's on my Series II Discovery but there is no application listed by Rancho. Can someone please tell me which part numbers fit properly with the stock springs and also which part numbers are correct for use with OME meduim or heavy-duty springs? I am assuming these springs (OME standard length) will affect the shock length required(?) Thanks, CARL |

Carl, I have RTE 3" springs, so these will be too long for you, but here they are anyway: Front=9185 (these use a cross-bar mounting on the bottom that must be drilled to fit the LR bolts. Rear=9005 |

Greg, I use a RS 9010 now for the Series II front w/3"lift, takes a lower loop mount FYI. For stock replacements on a Series II I would try the RS 9010 on the rear and a RS RS 9014 on the front with a lower loop mount. There is no stock shock replacement made by Rancho for the Series II and I wont say these are correct, but I believe they will work. |

John, does the 9010 have the same extended and compressed dimensions as the 9185? |

John, I think you sent me 9005 on the rear and 9010 on the front with my 2" RTE HD springs. I did purchase lower front mounts from you too. Greg P. |

Greg D. The 2 shocks are within 1/8" dimensionally to each other. The lower loop mount installation being much easier to deal with than drilling. Greg P. These shocks works with the 2" or 3" lifts as the extent of the D II susp. travel allows the use of the shock travel for both lifts. |

John, Has anyone ever made or tried to put a connector into the lower loop on the front similar to the stock situation to avoid having the extra lower mount in there? I didn't even think to try to see if the one on the stock shocks would come out and further if it would fit the rancho. Seems like just a 12mm deal with corresponding holes would work the same as stock. Any thoughts? Greg P. |

PS - I did finally track down some 12mm rancho sleeves. I should have them in a few days. They come in a package which is part #P912. |

A 1/2" or 12 m/m pin for the loop mounts with a 3/8" hole drilled in each end is not very strong IMO. Thats why I do the plate mount for the loop for the stronger mount. |
