hello again all, i was looking in the tech section on front window repair but didn't find anything except for the right rear... anyone ever fix the front driver side window? |

Sure. It�s a relatively straightforward repair. I have some tips located within an older thread. Perform a search on window regulator. If you have difficulty, repost and I will try to provide the tips. |

The welds that hold the teeth onto the bars snaped on mine and I replaced it. Pretty simple job. Door removal just requires prying the panel away after removing the speaker handle and panel under the door release. Peel away the plastic sheet carefully so you can place it back. Unhook the motor and detach the glass from the regulator. Wrestle the thing out from the door and place the motor on the new new regulator and reverse the procedure. Of course all this does you no good if your problem is with the motor or the electrics. |
