Intermittent Noise

Author Message   robert rubenzik Posted on Saturday, June 01, 2002 - 01:16 am:    Used '99 Discovery SE: I hear (and feel) an intermittent "ker-chunk" noise coming from under the car. Happens only while moving - high range- any speed. It feels & sounds as if I periodically run over an empty soda can. Still on factory warranty, dealer here says this is normal. The sound and tactile bump seem to occur about every 30 seconds (seems to vary). Any ideas?
