I found this quote in the tire section of the tech section: "245/70-16: little taller and wider than the stock size. reportedly, no need for lift or trimming to fit those tires". I finally went offroading with my new BFG A/T�s in this size and found the tires to be rubbing fairly frequently. (I have a stock D1, but hopefully that will change soon). IMHO, if you use this size and take it off road, you need to do a little trimming on the rear wheel wells...or upgrade your suspension. Maybe we should slightly update the tech section... |

Chris , some trucks rub with certain tires while others dont. Its been talked about quite frequently here about how wide the tolerances are on these things.. Kyle |
