In speaking with the guys from Rockware about the fit of their pinion guard onto my disco2, he suggested simply removing the vibration dampener from my rear diff. Is this wise? Has anyone tried this, or have an oppinion one way or the other? |

If you have not torn off the dampner yet, what makes you think you need a pinion slider? curious Craig |

I'm a firm beliver in preventative measures. I'd rather not 'tear off' a 1/4" thick piece of steel from my differntial before I let go of the $60 for a chunk of steel to protect everything. So, back to the question, do I NEED the dampener? |
