I'm adding Hella 4000s this week. Has anyone utillized a LR auxillary light switch (fog light switch to get a clean look)? I have factory fogs connected and would like to keep them. I have the extra switch there and would like to use it. Was anyone able to find a plug at Advanced Auto Parts or Napa etc. that can be wired and connected to the LR switch? I hope that I've made sense. Thanks as always. |

I used the factory switch. But I also got rid of my fogs because I went to a SG bumber. I don't know if thats what your looking for but in any event you can still use a factory switch and it will work just fine Ken |

jack; I wasn't able to find a factory 'plug' for a fogswtich, however, I did find crimp on connectors at NAPA that I conviced to work - see the tech section - parts cross reference. |

Jack- You can order a switch that LR makes for auxillary lights. it fits in the stock spots on the switch cluster on either side of the instrument panel, where the fog lights / cruise control switches are located. Mine (2001 DSII) is identical to my fog light switch, except instead of the fog light logo it has a circled number 2 on the switch CK |

Thanks all for the help. Chris, I'm going to run by NAPA today and check it out as well as going to the dealership to see if they could provide a plug. I just want a nice, easy, clean install if there is such a thing. Craig, I ordered a bunch of aux switches from AB. I'm hoping to find some sort of label for the switch. |
